MBA Student/Alumni Speed Networking

The Wisconsin School of Business alumni network is one of the greatest assets for current Business Badger students. WSB invites alumni to connect with current MBA students in a fun and fast-paced virtual networking event. This exclusive opportunity will be held through Meetaway, a platform that prioritizes one-to-one conversations based on your indicated preferences. Each short video conversation provides students with an opportunity to ask alumni questions, gain advice, and expand their network. Alumni should come ready to share insights from their industry, leadership development tips, and career advancement ideas. Grow your own professional network while also making a difference in the lives of today’s Business Badgers!
This event is for WSB alumni to connect with current MBA students in the Full-Time, Evening, Professional, and Executive MBA programs at the Wisconsin School of Business.
Meetaway FAQs
When you sign up, simply indicate that you are a WSB alum and Meetaway will match you with interested students. You can log in before the event and indicate the participants you have an interest in meeting.
During the event, each alum will get up to five different one-on-one video conversations with Business Badger students. After each conversation, attendees automatically rotate to the next one.
All conversations are time-boxed so you can use your time efficiently. Don’t worry if you enter late or end early, you’ll be slotted into another conversation if available.
Time extensions are also available if you want more time. Just make sure everyone’s on board to extend the time.
You’ll want to join the event on a laptop or desktop with a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Meetaway does not support mobile devices.
