My journey as class president in university has been both dynamic and rewarding experience marked by leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to serving the interests of fellow students. Here are some of the key roles and responsibilities I had: 1. Communication Liaison: Acted as a bridge of communication between the students and the university administration and staff. conved students' concerns, questions, and feedback. 2. Academic Advocate: Represented academic interests of the class by discussing curriculum issues, course scheduling ( restructuring of Sessional timetable) with professors and department heads. 3. Organizer of Class Activities: Planned and coordinated class-related events (such as SPSS training), meetings(make up classes) and social activities, fostering a sense of community among classmates. 4. Conflict Resolution: Mediated conflicts or disputes among classmates, promoting a harmonious and respectful learning environment. 5. Information Sharing: Shared important academic deadlines, announcements, and university updates with classmates to ensure everyone stays informed. 6. Represented Classmate: Voiced out the concerns and interests of their class or program. As my tenure as class president comes to an end, I carry with me the memories of our shared successes and the resilience that defines our class.

Post Pandemic Pedagogy Discussion Group We've all noticed the changes to our students since coming back from the pandemic. They are distracted, they don't want to talk in class, time management is gone, and they lack a lot of those soft skills. Study habits, academic writing, and test-taking strategies have suffered too. Many students are still reeling from the multifaceted traumas of the last few years. In this democratically-run discussion group, we aim to talk candidly about the problems we are seeing across disciplines, and to brainstorm solutions. There is no assigned reading - the organizers will propose a few short pieces at the beginning to jumpstart our conversations, and then ask for further suggestions from the group as our discussions develop. Date(s)/Time(s): Fridays, 12:00-1:00pm; 9/8, 9/22, 10/20, 11/3; Location(s): In-Person at UCO For more information and to register, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gitMUtSr
