Today, we filed an amicus brief with our co-counsel at Perkins Coie LLP Coie, LLP. This filing, despite being over 40 pages long, has one core argument: limiting abortion pills hurts survivors of domestic violence. We will continue to share why we think this filing will be groundbreaking in our fight for justice and gender liberation. #abortionishealthcare #abortionrights #scotus #genderliberation #abortionpills

Extract from the Guardian Spain passes law allowing anyone over 16 to change registered gender Spain’s parliament has approved new legislation that will allow anyone over 16 to change their legally registered gender, ease abortion limits for those aged 16 and 17, and make the country the first in Europe in Europe to introduce paid menstrual leave. The new transgender law – which was passed despite protests from feminist groups, warnings from opposition parties, and amid tensions between different wings of the Socialist-led coalition government – means that anyone aged over 16 will be able to change their gender on official documents without medical supervision. https://lnkd.in/dXUNpxhC

Embracing the journey of breaking societal norms and challenging the status quo! 💪🌍 Our lives have been subtly influenced, but the fight for freedom persists. 🌟 Despite facing hurdles like shadow bans and content takedowns, the mission remains strong. 💔🚫 Let's address taboo topics boldly, advocating for open conversations without asterisks. 🗣️ Today, it might be about embracing our bodies or asserting our desires, but globally, women face far graver challenges. 🌏 In some places, women are denied education during their periods, and in others, gender-based preferences lead to the alarming disappearance of baby girls. 😢 Meanwhile, debates on abortion rights resurface in certain regions. We've made strides, yet there are forces trying to confine us, fearing our inherent power. 🚀 We won't yield; the struggle for freedom is too vital. ✊ ✨ Let's break free from societal constraints and celebrate our strength! 🌈🔓 #BreakTheTaboo #FightForFreedom #EmpowerWomen #GlobalEquality #StayWild #UnboxYourPower #GenderEqualityNow #BeyondAsterisks #PowerfulWomen #StayStrong #WomensRightsMatter

📣 In order to reinforce a democratic consensus and support #humanrights , democratic governments and international institutions must put #genderequality and #sexualandreproductiverights at the center of their fight against authoritarianism worldwide. 📣 Why ⁉ In many instances, access to #SRHR is targeted first, undermining individuals’ bodily autonomy and paving the way for repealing other rights, such as voting rights. Restrictions on SRHR can have a chilling effect on other human rights, including freedom of speech and assembly, health, and equality. see 'Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Decline of Democracy, and Rise in Authoritarianism' by International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) https://lnkd.in/gRrATQzT

Celebrating lesbian visibility is crucial because it helps combat discrimination and prejudice faced by lesbian individuals. By highlighting their existence and stories, it fosters acceptance, challenges stereotypes, and promotes equality and inclusion in society. In regions like Central America, where LGBTQ+ rights may face more challenges, visibility becomes even more essential in advocating for equal rights and combating discrimination.
This week recognizes Lesbian Visibility Week, celebrating and promoting the visibility, acceptance, and inclusion of women and nonbinary lesbians in our community. Through our collective action, we can help create a more inclusive world where everyone can feel seen, safe, and respected, regardless of their sexual orientation. #LVW2024 #lesbianvisbilityweek

𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 = 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞? If you want to empower your women, empower your men first. Women's Empowerment + Men’s Empowerment = Spiritual Empowerment Men are not as horny as we have made them keeping our women isolated. Women isolation? - Live under boundaries. - Wear differently. - Behave differently. Don’t you think this invites horniness in men’s minds? Now men will try to find out the secret that women have been hiding, And, In that search it sometimes turns into big accidents. 💀 I was amazed seeing last 4-5 year reports that “almost 34% of total pregnancies were unintended that ended in abortion”. So if you’re feeling isolation is the solution to this problem. No, it’s not, Inversely if you continued it more, you’re inviting that fire of horniness in both genders. You will see more cases to appear…🥲 So work on empowering both genders! #justathought #spiritual #empowerment

International Relations Student | Cross-cultural Competence | Strategic Problem Solving | Critical Thinking
Feminism transcends borders, but the movement can vary greatly from one country to another 💜. In Mexico, Women’s Day is a day of commemoration, not celebration—But, how does the Mexican feminist movement differ from other feminist movements around the world? 🇲🇽 1. Mexico faces a serious problem of gender-based violence: high prevalence of femicides, rapes, and disappearances. 🚩 2. Reproductive rights are unequal across Mexican states: countless Mexican women lack access to safe and legal abortion, as well as essential reproductive healthcare services. 💚 3. Recognizing intersectionality: Mexican feminists emphasize on the importance of addressing how gender intersects with other forms of oppression, including race, ethnicity, social class, sexual orientation, and gender identity. 🌈 As an international relations student, I have come to understand the critical role that gender perspective, advocacy, and collaboration play in confronting pressing global issues. I am empowered to contribute significantly to the advancement of women’s rights and human rights worldwide. 🌎🟰💜 #womenempowerment #womenhistorymonth #8marzo #internationalrelations
